The Eco by Design rug pad is extra thin for areas that require clearance or low profile rugs like entry ways, hall ways or high traffic areas. It also will provide protection from your floor for spills or pet “accidents” so it doesn’t damage the flooring underneath.

Eco Premium Rug Pad
This rug pad is our mid-weight pad for use under rugs or between carpet & rugs. Simply invet the pad so the silver side is up on carpet. Eco Premium is thinner, lighter weight than Supreme for lower pile rugs, flat rugs, or our customers who do not want the plush feel.

Ever Grip Rug Pad
The Ever Grip rug pad is made from synthetic rubber (similar to the rubber in tennis shoes and chewing gum) and is extra thin for areas that require clearance or low profile rugs like entry ways, hall ways or high traffic areas or for long rugs like runners. It also will provide protection from your floor for spills or pet “accidents” so it doesn’t damage the flooring underneath.

- Do Rug Pads Need to Be the Exact Size?
Ideally, you want your rug pad to be slightly smaller than your rug so it fits within it.
- What Can You Use Instead of a Rug Pad?
Some people use a non slip drip, glue or even caulking around the underside of their rug but a rug pad always works much better.
- Do You Need a Rug Pad
While you don’t “need” a rug pad, it is always better to have one to protect your floor and rug for years.
- How Long Do Rug Pads Last
Most quality rug pads will last at least 4-5 years. A good time to get new pads is when you professionally clean your rugs.
