Pet urine can travel through face fibers and into the rug’s foundation. Our specialty treatment includes targeted flushing, treatment dwell time, a second flush, and then professional washing and controlled drying.
Urine treatment: +$1.00 per sq. ft. in addition to the regular cleaning price.
Our pet urine treatment process
1. Inspect
We inspect the rug, identify contamination areas, and account for fiber and construction.
2. Flush & Treat
We flush contamination through the rug, apply the specialty treatment, and allow the proper dwell time.
3. Flush Again & Wash
After treatment, we flush again and proceed with the rug’s professional wash process.
4. Controlled Drying
Moisture is removed and the rug is dried in our controlled drying environment before final inspection.
Why regular cleaning may not be enough
Surface cleaning can improve appearance, but urine contamination may remain deeper in the rug. That is why we treat urine as a specialty service rather than simply adding fragrance or masking odor.
Results depend on the rug fiber, construction, severity and age of contamination, and any previous cleaning attempts. Our goal is to treat the source as thoroughly as the rug safely allows.
