CARE BELOW THE SURFACE

Address the source of the odor.

Surface cleaning alone may leave contamination inside the rug. Our treatment is selected for the rug’s fiber, construction, dyes, and condition.

01

Urine & odor treatment

Specialized flushing and treatment help address contamination within the fibers, rather than simply cover the smell.

02

Fiber-specific washing

We choose the cleaning approach after inspection, with particular care for delicate fibers and dye stability.

03

Careful finishing

After rinsing and drying, we inspect the rug, treat remaining spots where appropriate, groom the fibers, and prepare it for delivery.

AT OUR FAIR OAKS FACILITY

A thorough process.
A clear care plan.

We confirm the recommended treatment and price before work begins. Urine treatment is quoted separately from regular rug washing.

  1. 1

    Inspect & assess

We identify the rug’s fiber, note stains and odor concerns, and check its condition and dyes.

  2. 2

    Flush & treat

For suitable rugs, we flush the contamination, apply urine treatment, allow it to dwell, and flush again before washing.

  3. 3

    Wash & rinse

We wash with fiber-appropriate products and rinse thoroughly.

  4. 4

    Extract & dry

A centrifuge removes most moisture before the rug moves to our temperature-controlled drying room.

  5. 5

    Finish & deliver

We inspect, groom, package, and arrange the return of your rug.

KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT

Honest advice for your rug.

Odor treatment and stain removal are different concerns. Urine can affect dyes or fibers, and some discoloration may remain after the contamination has been treated.

We’ll explain what we find during inspection and what treatment is appropriate for your rug.

PROTECTION UNDER YOUR RUG

Consider a moisture-barrier pad.

Low Profile, Everyday Comfort, and Luxury Cushion pads have moisture-barrier backing to help protect the floor from spills and pet accidents. They also offer different levels of cushioning.

A pad supports your rug’s care; accidents still need prompt cleanup.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Pet accidents happen.
We’re here to help.

Can you remove every urine stain?

Results depend on the fiber, dyes, age of the stain, and extent of the damage. Some urine discoloration is permanent. We inspect the rug and explain the likely outcome before treatment.

Is urine treatment included in regular cleaning?

Urine treatment is quoted separately. Share your rug’s size and fiber type, if known, and describe the odor or accident so we can help with an estimate.

How long will you have my rug?

Our full rug-care process typically takes 1–2 weeks. We’ll confirm timing when we arrange your pickup.

What if my rug is wool, silk, or viscose?

Tell us what you know about the fiber. We inspect the rug and check its condition and dyes before recommending a treatment.

Can you help with damaged side cords or fringe?

We work on side cords and fringes. If your pet has damaged an edge, send a photo so we can assess the work needed.
